PARADE GRAND MARSHALS

Former Hamden Mayors chosen by Mayor Scott Jackson to be the Columbus Day Parade Marshalls.  The Columbus Day Parade was held on Sunday, October 10, 2010 at 1 PM in the Town of Hamden.  “All of Hamden is excited to host, once again the Columbus Day Parade.  This great annual event is one of the most anticipated events of the year and we look forward to showcasing the Town of Hamden on this
special day ,”  Mayor Scott Jackson.

The Columbus Day Parade Hosted by the Town of Hamden will take place on Sunday, October 10, 2010 at 1 PM.  Newly elected Columbus Day Committee members organizing and planning the year long activities and parade in conjunction with the Town of Hamden are as follows:

Passing of the Flag

The traditional “Passing of the Flag” ceremony took place on Tuesday, February 23, 2010 at 3 PM in the Conference Room of the Government Center in the Town of Hamden.  The Honorable April Capone Almon, Mayor of the Town of East Haven transferred the Italian Flag to The Honorable Scott D. Jackson, Mayor of the Town of Hamden.  The Columbus Day Parade will take place in the Town of Hamden on Sunday, October 10, 2010 at 1 PM.
