DeCaprio Columbian Squires preparing a Pasta Dinner served at the Columbus
Day Committee Cultural Night on October 3, 2009. The Columbian Squires are
an official youth organization of the Knights of Columbus since l925. It is opened
to boys ages ten to eighteen. This organization, the Father Mychal Judge Circle
#4853, was formed on March 13, 2004 at Our Lady of Pompeii Church, East
Haven, Connecticut.

| Passing of the Flag East Haven is the Host Community for the Columbus Day Parade on Sunday, October 11, 2009 at 1 P.M. The Town of North Haven was the Host Community for the 2008 Columbus Day Parade.. The traditional "Passing of the Flag" ceremony from North Haven to East Haven took place on January 6, 2009 in the East Haven Town Hall.
